One day eggs are good for our brain, the next day they are bad for our heart - and every diet book has the science to back up their completely different approach!

This course will cover all your questions without overloading you with new or confusing information.
Our Weekly Topics
Let's start with the basics. We will be covering calories, fat, carbohydrates, and protein. The good, the bad, and the ugly versions of them!
Eating for your type
We will be determining our physical constitution through the lens of Ayurveda to help us understand why we naturally gravitate towards certain foods and how to be mindful of the foods that throw us off balance.
Food as Medicine
We will learn about super foods, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and polyphenols. This will help you understand how food really can be used as medicine and will highlight foods that help different ailments.
Mindful Eating Practices
Tonight we are going to dive deep into mindfulness and the psychology behind eating from eating your feelings to mindless snacking.
I know you are dying to ask me questions on every little trend from paleo to vegan to intermittent fasting. Tonight we will be discussing the different buzz words you hear, what they mean, and their pros and cons.
There are a lot of foods that don't agree with some humans. The problem is that we are sensitive to them, not allergic. That means we can continue to eat them and suffer with small ailments like heartburn or acne. We will go into the 6 common allergens.
Meal Planning & Prep
Now that you know everything you need to about food and nutrition, it's time to make a plan. Tonight we will cover how to plan your meals for the week in addition to the quick and low budget options to prepare your meals a few days at a time.
Putting it all together!
This is our final session to cover any closing questions and end our time together. You should be well set for a lifetime of healthy eating!

How long are the classes?
The classes are one hour long.
What happens if I can't make it?
Each video class is recorded. You will have access to the online recording and can ask me any questions you have.
What is the fee?
The early bird price is $175 if you sign up by June 24th. Starting June 25th the cost is $250.
What is the class format?
All classes will be hosted through Zoom. Each week we will be discussing different topics as a group. You can ask questions through the chat box and I will open it up to the group for a Q&A at the end of each class. Two of the classes will offer cooking demonstrations and how-to's.
Someone I live with would like to join me in the course, do we have to pay for two people?
